Kaem is what we call him. Samwel is his name. He is originally from Njoro, Kenya.  After the parents' divorced, his mother took her eight children to live with her parents. Samwel’s mother died of stomach cancer soon after, leaving the grandparents to raise the children.  With no income, Samwel and the other children were not able to eat properly or go to school. The Joseph Waweru Home School accepted Samwel and began his academic journey.  The grandfather has since died and the grandmother is rather frail.

Kaem is a bright, young man and enjoys "arguing his point". With education and polish he will make an excellent lawyer.
