Lawrence Wanga Oniemo sits in a small workshop hand sketching African scenes onto muslin.  After sketching several, he begins the waxing and dying process.  Each color is carefully brushed on and dried before waxing and applying the next.

This batik is approximately 36" X 37" with two rough edges and two selvage edges.  It is perfect either hung as is, mounted on foam core,  framed or placed on a window for privacy and color.
