This Mother and Baby Doll set was hand stitched in Kenya.  It is a common sight to see amother with her baby strapped to her back with a length of fabric.  It is the safest way to transport the child and leave the mother's hands free for work. 

The mother stands 15" tall. The baby is removeable for separate play.
