Item: 8" Painted Soapstone Rough Finish Dish

This soapstone dish was carved and painted by Charles Ombesa from Kiisi, Kenya soapstone. The outside is rough finished by using a small nail to tap thousands of indentations. The interior is painted smoothed and polished.
It measures 8" X 7 1/2 and 2 3/4" high.
