After carrying back with me chapati pans for my friends, it seemed a good item to include.  These pans are awesome for so many things.  They are used in Kenya to cook chapati, a flat bread similar to a tortilla. I have found them so handy for most stir frys,pancakes, eggs, omelets etc. The slightly tapered edges keep loose foods from runningoff the edge but the flat surface allows easy access for stirring and flipping. 

The pan is made from hand forged steel. After seasoning with oil, it takes on a smooth black finish like a cast iron pan.  The loop allows you to hang it close to the stove for easy access.

The pan does have a hefty weight to it which makes them costly to ship but we think the fund is worth the extra cost.
