Item: Maasai Candle Holders These Maasai Candle Holders are made in Kisumu, Kenya by TEMAK, Teenage Mothers Association of Kenya. Each is made of sheet metal. They are uniform in size and style but often unique in clothing pattern. Each is 11 1/2" tall to the drip cup. The candle is placed on an attached 1/2" spike. The entire candle holder is painted black. Then the figure is dressed with a red patterned Maasai blanket and some jewelry. The base is 3" x 3". Sturdy and stunning each is sold with a small votive candle. You may buy one as an accent piece or a pair. Remember if you purchase a pair they may not be dresssed identically. This purchase supports the projects of TEMAK and Expanding Opportunities.
