Item: Long Grass Fruit Basket with Handle(1).jpg) This hand woven coil style grass basket is made by Asunot Nargend of the Kapedo Women's Groups of Kenya. They use natural grasses as well as dyed grasses to make their beautiful designs.
This basket is a symbol of products handcrafted by women in Kapedo to give hope for a better future by generating income for food, clothing, school feees and other necessities.
This basket is an oval 14" in diameter lengthwise and 10 1/2" in diameter horizontally and 9" in height with a 6" drop in handle.
