Hand woven from the Baobab tree in Kenya, Africa, this backpack has approximately 12" of hand woven baobab and 8" of leather top. There are two leather backpack straps 3/4" wide with strong buckle adjustments. The leather is gathered at the top with a rawhide pull. This entire piece can be tucked inside when carrying a shorter and lighter load. A leather flap folds over with a riveted adjustment strap with a strong buckle for closure. 

Baobab is strong and tough.  It is a bit stiff in the beginning but softens with wear.
