Sarah has been beading to supplement the family income for her family of six children since 1983. She learned her art from her mother when she was very young. As she worked with the materials, she began to develop her own creative ideas. Currently her husband has lost his job and she has become the sole supporter. The drought of the past three years has taken all of their cows and goats. She must provide food and school fees for her children.
